With that many applications being received, we have an influx of application materials piling on our doorstep everyday. It can take a few days for us to receive, process, scan, and link your documents so please be patient with us. Although we are more than willing to check the status of your file please allot an appropriate amount of time to make sure that we have processed your application materials. You can also check your WebAdvisor to see the status of your application!
Our Early Action deadline is rapidly approaching! So for all of you who want to apply early be sure to submit your application by Tuesday, November 15th! (Note, if you are applying to Film Production, you must apply Early Action).
Our Regular Decision deadline is January 15th, 2012. Neither of our deadlines are binding so feel free to apply to whichever deadline you deem appropriate. We, in general, recommend Early Action simply due to the lower volume of applications during that time and the freedom we have with you as an applicant.
On a less logistical note, we had Discover Chapman Day on October 29th and it was a HUGE success! Thank you all for who attended! We had over 1600 guest who came out and enjoyed our campus. We hope that for all who could come can still come and visit and take a campus tour every weekday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The following Monday, as I'm sure you know, was Halloween and we in the Admission Office are always ready to don some costumes and get in the holiday Spirit.

For the early action notification deadline, does that mean that Jan. 15 is the earliest we will hear back, or is it possible to hear back earlier than that?
