Season's Readings!

First and foremost, best wishes for a safe, warm and happy holiday season with your loved ones!
While many of you have been on vacation for a few days now, most of us here in the Office of Admission don't start our break until tomorrow (yay!). We have been busy-busy-busy reading the first round of applications that were submitted for our Early Action deadline back on November 15. As a rookie reader, I am thoroughly enjoying the process!

For those wondering what happens next, our office will be closed from December 23-January 5, 2009. When we come back, we will still be in "reader mode" in hope of getting decisions out to you guys by mid/late January. And, if you are keeping track, you will notice that January 15 is the Regular Decision deadline (don't miss it!). After we complete decisions for the Early Action files, we get to do it all over again with the next round of apps.

Hope you are enjoying your winter as much as we are :o)

- Dena

PS - If you are worried about how to get your "Chapman Fix" during the break when the office is closed, I suggest visiting the Chapman Student blog to read about some of the undergrad Panthers' latest adventures!
