Happy New Year everyone! This is our first post in 2008!
I wanted to give you an update about our reading season. We're sitting at about 8 working days from sending out our first batch of decisions. Remember, January 15th is when we send the FIRST batch of decisions out, not all of them. For more information on this topic specifically please refer to our previous post by clicking here.
We were looking at the numbers this morning and our reports indicate that we're going to be up on applications a pretty sizable amount this year. It's too soon to say exactly how much we will increase, but it should be another solid year of growth.
All things considered, we're doing pretty well with our goals in reading and decision making. We do, however, have more to process than we thought so we're all going to be putting in extra long hours to make sure we get as many decisions out by January 15th as possible. Having said that, it will probably be a short while before we are completely done with early action decisions so if you don't hear from in the next few weeks, please remain patient - we will get to you.
